Query: Not receiving ICAI monthly Student's journal



Most common query from students is that they are not receiving ICAI Student's Journal.


Issuing Students’ Journal free of cost

  • Students through PCC will be sent Student’s Journal, free of charge, for a total continuous period of three & half years (42 months) from the date of commencement of articleship. They will continue to receive the Student’s Journal even after joining final course, provided the period of 42 months is not complete.
  • Students belonging to IPCC stream will be sent Student’s Journal free of charge for a period of 1 year from the date of registration.
  • Students coming through IPCC stream will be sent Student’s Journal free of charge for three years from the date of commencement of articles. They will continue to receive the Student’s Journal even after joining final course provided the period of 3 years is not complete.
  • Students from PE-II stream will be sent Student’s Journal free of charge for three years from the date of commencement of articles. They will continue to receive the Student’s Journal even after joining final course provided the period of 3 years is not complete.

The above categories of the Student’s need not pay any amount separately along with fees. Student’s registering for the Common Proficiency Test will not be sent any Student’s Journal.

After that, students need to pay prescribed fee, as explained below:

Students who are unable to receive ICAI Student Journal or those who wish to subscribe, should pay the requisite fee and send an application form.

Annual subscription rates for Student’s Journal are:

1. For Student’s of ICAI – Rs. 200
2. For Members of ICAI & Others - Rs. 500
3. For Overseas - US $ 100

The students, members, others interested in subscribing Student’s Journal may send the appropriate amount through Demand Draft in favour of:
The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
payable at New Delhi.
