Query: 'Validate', 'Calculate Tax', 'Generate' buttons are not working in ITR form

If 'Validate', 'Calculate Tax', 'Generate' buttons are not working in ITR form, then Macros should be enabled in the Return Preparation software.

There are two ways to do that.

1st Method:

When you open the ITR, on the top you will find a Security Warning saying some active content has been disabled, like in the image below:

Click on the options button. Then a window as shown below will be opened:

Then, three small windows will be opened (as shown below), which means that macros has been enabled:

2nd Method:

Click on MS-Office Icon on the top left corner. After clicking, at the bottom you will find 'Excel Options'. cilck on that..

After clicking the excel options, you will find the list of excel options. Now click on 'Trust Center' button and select 'Trust Center Settings' (see below).

After clicking on 'Trust Center Settings' button, the Macros status page will be opened. Click the fourth option there., i.e, 'Enable all macros' and click ok.

Pactically, in most of the cases, enabling the macros through the 2nd method as stated above cannot be done.

1st method is simple and fast.
